The Emerge ALÁRA Awards are down to the final six after applications opened in July.

The Emerge ALÁRA Awards are an Africa wide search for exceptional talent in Design, Art, Fashion and Cuisine. The Fashion Edition aims to find the most promising young designer and fashion media creative who will be offered the opportunity to present a retail collection and exhibition respectively.

The winner will also receive mentorship from a carefully selected team of advisors. Finally, after a gruesome selection process from applications from Kenya, South Africa, Senegal, France and the USA, the final 6 have been chosen. This group of talented designers have been found to possess the creativity and originality the ALÁRA team set out to find.

The following designers have been selected as Emerge ALARA - The Fashion Edition 2018 Finalists.

They have been given a special grant to produce spectacular showpieces that will be open for public viewing over the weekend, Sunday October 28, at ALÀRA Lagos. The winner will be announced at the Finale Event on Saturday as part of the prestigious Lagos Fashion Week.
