You would struggle to find someone in Nigeria who does not know the name Mo Abudu. Auntie Mo, as she's affectionately known by those in the industry, has carved out an impressive career in film and television and earned herself the moniker 'The Nigerian Oprah'. Mo Abudu is a woman who wears many hats, describing herself as 'Mother, TV Producer, Filmmaker, Talk Show Hostess, Media Entrepreneur, Human Resource Management Consultant and Venture Capitalist.' What an impressive CV!

Seen as a mother figure to many, Mo is credited with launching and supporting many careers and her films and productions have provided launch pads for many. She is the first woman to own a  TV station in Nigeria and her channel EbonyLifeTV has a profound presence on the silver screen producing smash hit shows such as Moments with Mo, Castle and Castle and Sons of the Caliphate.
