Afro-Colombian Teen Witch Drama 'Siempre Bruja' Is Set To Premiere on Netflix February 2019

Back in October, Netflix shook the internet revealing a new drama series featuring a badass Afro-Colombian bruja.

Now we can mark our calendars to commence the binging. Siempre Bruja (Always a Witch) will be available to watch on Netflix on February 1, 2019, Shadow and Act reports.

In the series we'll meet Carmen, a young black bruja who time travels to avoid being burned at the stake in 1646 Cartagena, Colombia. We'll follow her as she adjusts to the city's modern life in the present day.

Siempre Bruja is based on the novel by author Isidora Chacon, Yo, Bruja. Production commenced this past summer and will have 10, 1-hour episodes in its first season.
