Nigerian Supermodels walk for Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana

As Milan Men's Fashion week draws its curtains, two Nigerian Supermodels celebrate a successful fashion season in Milan as they walk the runway for major designers.

Mayowa Nicholas and Davidson Obennebo keep rocking runways from across the globe. With faces that are in high demand by major designers, it is no surprise that these two Supermodels walked for Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Men's Fashion Week.

Winners of the Elite Model Look Nigeria 2014 and 2016 respectively, Mayowa Nicholas and Davidson Obennebo, have both had a successful season at the Milan MFW 2018.

According to their mother agency, Beth Model Management Africa, they walked for Giorgio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Frank Morello, Alberta Ferretti, DSquared2 and many more.

Biography

Mayowa Nicholas was scouted by Elite Modelling Agency when she was only 16 years old and went on to compete for the Elite Model Look Nigeria (EMLN) in 2014. She emerged as the winner, bagging a contract with Beth Model Management Africa (Mother agency) and proceeded to represent Nigeria at the Global Elite Model Look World finals in China, where she emerged top ten and earned a three-year contract with Elite Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, and many others.

Nicholas' career has been record-breaking  being the first Nigerian model to star in campaigns for Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent and Calvin Klein. She was also announced to be cast for the Victoria Secret Show 2017 but couldn't make her debut due to visa issues. Recently, she landed her first ever cover for Vogue Germany’s July 2018 issue.

Davidson Obennebo is the winner of EMLN 2016 who also proceeded to win the Global Model Look World Final, making him the first person-of-colour and first Nigerian to win the Elite Model Look finals. Since then, he has walked for Balmain, DSquared2, Givenchy and a host of others. He is also the current face of Versace.
