Meg Otanwa is a goddess in a stunning Ujuestelo gown
The night of the AMVCA awards and our favourite celebrities are already thrilling us with their style. As the red carpet begins, celebrities have taken to social media to show off their looks for the night. One of the first to impress was actress Meg Otanwa who looked like a goddess in a stunning Ujuestelo gown.
It's that time of year again! The night of the AMVCA awards is upon us and as the stars of the big and silver screen gear up to be honoured for their work. Africa Magic Viewers' Choice Awards (AMVCA) is an annual accolade presented by Multichoice recognising outstanding achievement in television and film, voted on by the general public. The inaugural Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards ceremony was held in Lagos on 9 March 2013, and was broadcast live in more than 50 countries. 5 years later, the AMVCA has become one of the most coveted awards in the African film and television industry.
However, we're keeping our eyes on the red carpet. Meg was one of the first celebrities to reveal her outfit for the night and she shut down social media with a single post. The striking actress looked every inch the star in a dramatic Ujuestelo gown.
The teal one-shoulder dress was ruched at the waist to show off Meg's sensational figure. The petite actress made sure she had a lot of leg on show as the dress pooled around her feet in dramatic fashion. She accessorised with a pair of strappy gold sandals and a gorgeous pair of diamond earrings shaped like a snake.
This isn't the first time Meg has rocked the bespoke designer. Just last week, she wore a show-stopping beaded jumpsuit to the 'From Lagos With Love' film premiere.
The stunning piece which had a feather detailing on the arm was from Ujuestelo's AW18/19 collection called 'Memoirs of the Fearless Collection'.
