Portable's aide hits a bike rider with the singer's car, killing the victim

A Range Rover belonging to fast rising Nigerian singer, Portable, hit a bike rider in the Iyano Ilogbo area of Ogun State.

The driver of the car, a Portable associate, was out running errands when the tragic event occurred.

The victim died after being rushed to the hospital, according to Portable's manager, who confirmed the incident to over the phone.

His manager, named Theresa, told related, “I’ll be very fast with you because I’m very busy. I was the one that sent one of his boys to go and buy something for me.

"Perhaps the bike man thought Portable was driving, or they wanted to collect money, or whatever, but the man drove to the vehicle." They hit the man in this manner.

"They contacted me. I got up and left with Portable. We visited there. The driver of the car rushed the man to the hospital. I arrived at the hospital and gave them N25,000.

"They said N20,000 for treatment and N5,000 for X-ray."

When she arrived at the hospital, the bike rider was complaining about back pains, but his two female passengers were unharmed.

"When I left the hospital, I gave them another N8,000 to take a cab to where they were going to do the X-ray," the manager continued. I immediately reported to the Divisional Police Officer and the Commissioner of Police after leaving there.

"I contacted DPO Sango and DPO Ifo to explain what had occurred. After 10 minutes, they called me from the hospital to tell me that the man had died.

"When I got the call, I had to call the boy in the scenario and tell him to go to the station and report himself." He's at the station right now as I speak to you."

When our correspondent contacted the Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, he stated that the DPO had not briefed him on the matter and promised to find out.

"The DPO there has not sent me the report." So I'll find out," said Oyeyemi.

Portable had a child with his lover, Feranmi, last week, and the child's naming ceremony was set for Tuesday (today).
