A Ghanaian student has been awarded a five-year scholarship to Adeleke University by David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido.

On Wednesday, June 22, 2022, the musician announced this via his Twitter account.

This is coming hours after someone tweeted about the young man's inability to further his education despite scoring all As at the West African Examination Council (WAEC).

In a tweet that went viral, it was reported that the young man has been unable to further his education because of his financial status

 After the tweet went viral, Davido went on Twitter to ask for the young man's contact.

 Suleyman will receive a full scholarship to attend the Adeleke University in Ede, which is run by Davido's father.

Davido has previously supported the education of those who are less fortunate.

Davido's most recent birthday was the last time he made headlines for performing the tasks he does best.
