VIDEO: Verydarkman's recent visit to a healthcare facility for an HIV test generates strong reactions.
Martins Vincent Otse, also known as Verydarkman, a human rights activist and well-known social media voice, visited a healthcare facility for an HIV test and recorded his interaction with the staff in a viral video.
In a video posted to his Instagram account, Verydarkman was sitting and being examined by a doctor, surrounded by a small crowd of curious onlookers.
While undergoing the HIV test and eagerly awaiting the results, he effectively sprinkled humour into the tense atmosphere.
He joked, with a mischievous grin, that if the HIV test came back positive, it might just take the wind out of his sails, leaving him less of his usual contentious self on social media.
The social media critic learned a valuable lesson about the hidden reality of HIV and AIDS patients. Among these breakthroughs was the idea that an HIV-positive person can marry an HIV-negative person and even start a family without the risk of infecting their children.
Following the exam, he was offered condoms, which he reluctantly accepted, despite his reservations about using them during intercourse.
Verydarkman also took advantage of the opportunity to pose for photos with a few healthcare workers who were obviously fans of his.
Captioning the clip, he wrote;
“The kind of joy when some people go feel if to say I catch ehn,them go throw party anyways l’m not a fan of condom na so I go dey test always”
