Davido Renames His Label DMW and Signs Two More Artists
David Adeleke, better known as Davido, the world-famous Nigerian musician and music executive, has launched the rebranding and relaunch of his record company, Davido Music Worldwide, DMW.
He began by bringing on two new artists.
The 'Omo Baba Lowo' crooner made the informal statement as he announced the tracklist of his soon-to-be-released album 'Timeless'.
Morravey and Logos Olori, two new signees, were among the musicians featured on the long-awaited album. Angelique Kidjo, a famed Beninese singer, Skepta, a British rapper, and the trio of Nigerian vocalists Asake, Fave, and Cavemen are among the others.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, the record label's management acknowledged the signing of the new musicians.
Morravey is a Port Harcourt-bred singer/songwriter with a unique aptitude for combining Afro sounds with her characteristic voice, while Logos Olori is a fantastic Afrobeats artist with Yoruba origins.
Davido renamed his DMW record label, which he founded in 2016, DMW 2.0. The relaunch is scheduled to happen soon.
Liya, Peruzzi, May D, and Dremo call DWM home. Mayorkun, Lil Frosh, and Yonda were formerly signed to the label as well.
