If Judiciary Lives Up To Expectation, Obi Will Be President - Kenneth Okonkwo
Kenneth Okonkwo, a spokesperson for the Labour Party Presidential Campaign Council, has stated that if the Court of Justice does its real bidding, the party's candidate, Peter Obi, would be the next president.
This was mentioned by the actor when appearing as a guest on News Central's Politics HQ.
"By the grace of God," he added, "if the court of justice will live up to its true bidding of being a court of justice, I will tell you that Peter Obi will be the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria."
Okonkwo said section 134 2b of the Nigerian constitution made it clear that any candidate who did not score 25 per cent of votes in the Federal Capital Territory, ought not to be declared the winner of a presidential election.
He said it’s up to the judicial to save Nigeria’s democracy by living up to its true bidding.
