Justice Peter Mallong of the Federal High Court has died.

After a brief illness, he was claimed to have died on Sunday.

Hassan Sulaiman, Chief Registrar of the Federal High Court of Nigeria, verified this to our correspondent on Monday.

"Hon. Justice Peter Hoommuk Mallong, a judge of the Federal High Court, died unexpectedly on July 30, 2023, after a brief illness in Abuja," he added. More than words can explain how much we shall miss him.

"Funeral arrangements will be communicated to the general public in due time."
