Nyesom Wike, the newly sworn-in Federal Capital Territory FCT minister, took office on Monday, promising to restore the city's master plan.

At his first press conference, he stated that land allottees who had Certificates of Occupancy but did not develop would likewise lose their lands to make room for those who were ready to construct.

“If you know you have built where you are not supposed to build, it will go down”, he said.
