Former Chelsea winger Arjen Robben has chosen Lionel Messi above Cristiano Ronaldo in the Greatest Player Of All Time (GOAT) debate.

According to Robben, Messi does not utilize trickery and completes everything on the pitch fast.

Messi and Ronaldo are largely recognized as two of the greatest football players of all time.

The combination has won 13 Ballon d'Or honors between them.

Addressing the topic on the TOUZANI YouTube channel, Robben stated (via Mirror):

"You listed a few notable personalities who excel at it. When I discuss it with the guys. The best ever. The best. I constantly wonder, 'Does he employ tricks?' He is truly the best.

"Then the answer is no." Messi, of course, does not have any tricks up his sleeves. He just finishes everything swiftly. "He has control, speed, and agility."
