Halle Bailey and DDG part up less than a year after welcoming their baby.

The relationship between American celebrity couple singer Halle Bailey and rapper Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, aka DDG, has ended.

The rapper made the announcement on Thursday, October 3, via his Instagram account.

DDG indicated that the decision to part was mutual.

"Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways," he posted on Instagram.

DDG noted that, while they are no longer a couple, their friendship is still strong, emphasizing that their top priority is co-parenting and continuing to support one another in their own pursuits.

"Despite the changes in our relationship, our love for each other is still deep and real. "We are still best friends and adore each other," he said they will focus on their “individual journeys and roles as co-parents.”


The couple, who started dating in January 2022, became parents to their son, Halo in late 2023.
