I come from a respectable household. - Davido
Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, nicknamed Davido, has stated that, contrary to popular belief, he comes from a respectful household.
He explained that his occasional misdemeanours as a celebrity do not imply that he did not have a suitable upbringing.
On Saturday, Davido said during a courtesy visit to Warri's Olu in Delta State.
"I was raised by wonderful parents. "I come from a very respectful family, but as an OBO [star], I may act out of place," he remarked.
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, Wizkid recently criticized Davido's family, stating that the 'OBO' singer was not properly raised.
"When you see folks on the train with their parents and family, you know! "You don't see my uncle dancing online!" Wizkid wrote on his X handle, alluding to Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, who is known as the ‘Dancing Governor’ because of his numerous dance videos online.
