TalkTalk Nigeria reports that Remo Stars forward Franck Mawuena has been called up to the Togolese national team.

The Sky Blue Stars announced Mawuena's invitation via social media.

"Our striker, Franck Mawuena has received a call-up to the Togolese squad for this month's 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Algeria," the Remo Stars informed X.
"Congratulations, Franck - we're so proud of you."

Mawuena has one goal and one assist in four appearances for Daniel Ogunmodede's team in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.

The 31-year-old forward scored five goals in the NPFL last season.
