According to the TalkTalk Nigeria, Enyimba will meet two Egyptian clubs in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage: Zamalek and Al Masry.

Debutants The Black Bulls from Mozambique are the other squad in Group D.

Zamalek are the competition's defending champions.

The top two teams in the group will advance to the knockout phase.

Enyimba advanced to the money-spinning group stage with a penalty shootout victory over Burkina Faso's Etoile Filante in the second preliminary round.

The People's Elephant will attempt to create history as the first Nigerian club to win Africa's second-tier club championship.

The group stage, according to CAF, will begin in November 2024.
