Patrick Doyle, a veteran Nollywood actor, has criticized musician Davido for wearing his clothing to the palace of Warri's Olu, Ogiame Atuwatse III.

Davido played at the 'Warri Again' festival in Delta over the weekend.

This comes a year after Amaju Pinnick, former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), filed a N2.3 billion breach of contract suit against Davido for failing to perform at the 19th edition of the 'Warri Again' event on October 6, 2023.

However, the musician appears to have discreetly addressed his legal conflict with Pinnick since he participated at the 2024 edition of the 'Warri Again' performance this weekend.

Prior to his performance, Davido paid a polite call to the monarch alongside former NFF chairman, musician Phyno, comedian AY Makun, and Cubana Chief Priest.

Reacting to photos of Davido with the king, Doyle, a Delta State native, questioned the singer's outfit, calling it "inappropriate" for a royal visit.
