Deji Adeyanju confirms Speed Darlington's arrest by Burna Boy, saying, "We've located him in Abuja."
Deji Adeyanju, a prominent lawyer and activist, has confirmed the arrest of rapper Speed Darlington, who has been reported missing since Friday.
Adeyanju revealed that the rapper was detained in Lagos and taken to the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking in a series of postings on his X profile on Tuesday, the lawyer, who did not provide any information, said that the arrest was the result of a legal complaint by musician Burna Boy.
He added, "We just spent the last 30 minutes with Speed Darlington, who described how he was detained in Lagos on Friday last week, transported around, and then brought to Abuja. Burna Boy wrote the petition against him, which we can corroborate.
The discovery came just hours after Speed Darlington's mother accused Burna Boy and his gang of being responsible for her son's disappearance.
