DDG, a popular American rapper and YouTuber, has responded to the vitriol he experienced following his breakup with his baby mom, Halle Bailey.

According to TalkTalk Nigeria , the artist revealed his breakup with Bailey via Instagram on Thursday, October 3, 2024, adding that the split was mutual.

However, in response to the outrage from fans on social media, DDG stated that he and Bailey remain family.

In a viral interview with the 'No Ordinary podcast' on Monday, the rapper stated, "I have announced that we have split up, right?" It happens; Halle is still family, and I will adore her to the end.

"Everything is still fine, and you never know what the future holds." Anything beyond that is none of your concern. I scroll through my comments, mentions, and DMs and see folks who have no understanding what is going on.

"I've seen individuals make storylines, timelines, and such. Nobody was at fault in this case. Nobody has come out and said, "I did this or she did that." I and Halle are still family; we are just taking a short break. We don't know what might happen in the future.

"When public figures make a comment, accept it and go about your business. I don't know anything about your life, and you don't know mine; you only know a little bit because I allowed you to.”
