NPFL: Benue government forms forensic audit panel to investigate Lobi Stars' finances.
Benue State Governor Hyacinth Iormem Alia has formed a forensic audit group to look into the finances of Lobi Stars, a Nigeria Premier Football League side.
The move was prompted by complaints from players and officials about unpaid salaries.
Governor Alia announced this when receiving the club's new Technical Adviser, Daniel Amokachi, at Government House Makurdi.
The forensic audit team will be directed by Mr. Sam Chir.
Other team members include Mr. Bishop Dzungwe, Assistant Director (audit), Mr. Akpusugh Terungwa, Assistant Director (audit), and Dr. Gberindyer Abraham Chia, AG.
According to TalkTalk Nigeria , the state government recently approved the formation of a new management board for the club.
