Dancer Lil Smart Files Petition Against Naira Marley and Zinoleesky Over Alleged Threats

Dancer Lil Smart Files Petition Against Naira Marley and Zinoleesky Over Alleged Threats

Nigerian dancer and entertainer Lil Smart has escalated his conflict with Marlian Records boss Naira Marley and singer Zinoleesky by filing an official petition against the duo. The dancer alleges threats to his life and has vowed to pursue justice through the legal system.

On December 9, 2024, Lil Smart took to social media to raise concerns about his safety. He accused Naira Marley and Zinoleesky of endangering his life, sharing videos and photos that allegedly showed Zinoleesky and others chasing him. In his posts, he urged the public to hold the duo accountable if any harm came to him.

Responding to the accusations, Zinoleesky dismissed the claims, accusing Lil Smart of “chasing clout.” However, the dancer has remained resolute in his allegations, bolstered by what he describes as “very good evidence.”

Seeking Legal Redress

Lil Smart revealed on his Instagram page that he had submitted his petition and evidence to the authorities, seeking justice. The dancer also shared that this was not his first experience of bullying by the duo but that he previously lacked sufficient evidence to take legal action.

“This is not the first or third time I have been experiencing this bullying. But I didn’t have enough evidence to face the law. Now, I thank God that I have very good evidence, and I will put everything I have in line to make sure this bullying and threat to life is stopped,” Lil Smart wrote.

He expressed hope that justice would prevail and emphasized the importance of the law treating all citizens equally, regardless of their status.

Silence from Naira Marley

As of the time of filing this report, Naira Marley has not responded to the allegations. This silence has fueled speculation on social media, with many awaiting his reaction to the serious claims.

Opinion: Bullying and Accountability in the Entertainment Industry

Lil Smart’s case highlights a broader issue in the Nigerian entertainment industry: the alleged misuse of power and influence by some artists. If his claims are true, it raises concerns about how conflicts are managed in the industry and whether enough is being done to protect individuals from harassment and threats.

However, accusations of this nature should be approached with caution until investigations are concluded. Zinoleesky’s swift denial reflects the complexity of such disputes, where motives can be questioned, and evidence becomes crucial.

The justice system must act decisively and impartially. Cases like these are a test of Nigeria’s commitment to protecting its citizens, ensuring that fame or influence does not overshadow the rule of law.
