Swedish hip hop star shot dead in car park

Swedish police stated Friday that a man had been shot dead in a car park in Norrkoping, with media identifying the victim as rapper Gaboro, who was apparently linked to criminal gangs.

A video purporting to depict the killing soon circulated on social media.


In the video, which appears to have been taken with the shooter's camera, a person carrying a handgun is seen firing multiple shots in a parking lot.

Police said that they were aware of the footage and that it was part of their investigation.

They claimed a male in his twenties was found injured at the location on Thursday morning and was subsequently confirmed dead in the hospital.

Several media outlets reported that the man was rapper Gaboro.
