Ruben Amorim Calls for Hard Work After Manchester United’s 2-0 Loss to Arsenal
Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has called for more effort from his players following their 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Emirates on Wednesday.
Goals from Jurrien Timber and William Saliba handed the Gunners all three points, leaving Manchester United with a tough pill to swallow. After the match, Amorim was clear about what needs to change for his team to bounce back:
“We have to work more. That is the only way. Work, work, improve,” Amorim said, according to Fabrizio Romano. “We want to win games and we will try to do that in the next game.”
The defeat leaves Manchester United in 11th place on the Premier League table with 19 points after 14 games. With the next match against Nottingham Forest fast approaching, Amorim is determined to see his team put in the hard work needed to turn things around.
