Super Eagles Begin Final Preparations for CHAN Qualifier Against Ghana
The home-based Super Eagles have begun their final preparations for the 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against the Black Galaxies of Ghana, settling in Ikenne for an intensive training camp. The players and officials arrived at the Remo Stars Sports Institute on Wednesday and wasted no time, engaging in two training sessions on Thursday under the watchful eye of head coach Augustine Eguavoen.
The team continued their build-up with another two training sessions on Friday, fine-tuning their tactics and fitness ahead of the highly anticipated match. The Super Eagles will train again on Saturday, further honing their skills as they gear up for the crucial qualifier.
The first leg of the tie will take place in Accra at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 22, with the second leg scheduled for Saturday, December 28, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.
