Jamie Carragher Chooses Who Should Replace Jurgen Klopp At Liverpool

Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher believes that only Sporting Lisbon coach Ruben Amorim is capable of succeeding Jurgen Klopp as manager of the club.
Jurgen Klopp revealed earlier this season that he will leave the club at the conclusion of the season, leaving the Premier League heavyweights with little choice but to find a replacement.

Liverpool attempted to entice Bayer Leverkusen's great manager, Xabi Alonso, to Anfied, but the Spanish strategist stated that he had no plans to leave his current club this summer.

Following that, allegations surfaced that Liverpool had reached an agreement with Ruben Amorim to succeed Jurgen Klopp next summer, but the Portuguese coach, who is on the verge of winning the league and a domestic cup in Portugal, refuted the claims.

However, Liverpool is widely associated with the Portuguese tactician and is also considering current Brighton manager Roberto De Zerbi as an option.

However, Carragher felt that Liverpool would be better off hiring a manager who has just won a trophy with his previous team, such as Amorim.

"It appears that he is the current favourite; I do not have any inside information, but based on reports, that is how it appears. "Looks like he's going for the double this season," Carragher stated via The Boot Room.

"I believe that bringing in a title-winner in his final season at his previous job, particularly Mr Amorim, would be a very fantastic signing for Liverpool. I'm probably more Amorim than De Zerbi."
