We know how to beat Real Madrid — Barcelona’s Lewandowski confident of El Clasico win

With the Blaugrana looking to cut the gap on their arch-rivals in the league standings, Lewandowski is confident in Barcelona's approach to score a key victory over Real Madrid on Sunday.

Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski believes his team can defeat Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu in Sunday's highly anticipated El Clásico.
The Polish forward believes that Barcelona can capitalize on any euphoria that Real Madrid may be experiencing following their recent victory over Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League.

Lewandowski, determined to lead Barcelona’s attack in the upcoming showdown, sees the match as a pivotal opportunity to bolster his team’s La Liga title aspirations.

With the Blaugrana aiming to close the gap on their arch-rivals in the league standings, Lewandowski is optimistic about Barcelona’s strategy to secure a crucial victory against Real Madrid on Sunday.

“We know how to beat Real Madrid. We know them and we have analyzed the mistakes we made the last time we faced each other,” he was quoted as saying by Mundo Deportivo.

“We know that if we minimize their virtues we can beat them at the Santiago Bernabeu.”

“The euphoria for the qualifying against Manchester City can make Real Madrid mentally out of the Clasico,” he added.

On the Araujo-Gundogan incident, Lewandowski confirmed that the team had moved on past the incident, emphasizing that the locker room had already put it behind them.

“I get the impression that the media often cares more about these issues than we do. I think there was nothing wrong with Ilkay’s statement or that it was a personal attack on another person.

“We are men. If there was anything, it was probably explained, but at this moment there is no issue in the locker room,” he said.
