NPFL: Kwara United appeal N6m fine for disruption of live broadcast
Kwara United has challenged the sentence levied by the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The Harmony Boys were fined N6 million for disrupting the live broadcast of their matchday 31 clash with Akwa United last Saturday.
Kwara United said this in an interview with TalkTalk Nigeria.
"We have already appealed the fine imposed by the NPFL," Kwara United communications officer Jimoh Bashir revealed.
"We await response from the league body."
According to TalkTalk Nigeria, Kwara United was also charged with giving fraudulent information, which resulted in the rescheduling of their match versus Bayelsa United.
