Remo Stars, Rivers United rescheduled game gets new date

The Nigeria Premier Football League has postponed Rivers United's match against Remo Stars for matchday 21.

The game is set to take place on Sunday, May 5.

The match was initially postponed owing to Rivers United's CAF Confederation Cup commitments.

Davidson Owumi, the NPFL's chief operations officer, announced this in a memo to the two clubs.

The match is scheduled for the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.

Rivers United are unbeaten in their last four league games.

Stanley Eguma's side defeated Katsina United 2-0 on Thursday, moving up to 12th place in the league.
