General hospital gets blood bank fridge as donations.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Kay Farms Products Limited, Chief Kayode Rotimi Williams, donated a blood bank refrigerator and 10 units of air conditioners to the General Hospital, Somolu, Lagos.
The Medical Director of the hospital, Dr. Babalola Ogungbemile, together with the management staff while receiving the items from Williams last week at the conference room of the hospital, expressed gratitude for the kind gesture.
A statement on Sunday qouted medical director as saying that the items came at the right time because the hospital had been in dire need of them.
Responding, the donor, Williams, accompanied by his wife, Chief (Mrs) Abimbola Williams, said he felt happy giving back to humanity after 53 years of active work.
He said, “I am 75 this year and I was happy when approached on the issue because it was an avenue for me to give back to humanity.
“It is important for man to always give God all the glory no matter the position we acquire in life, as we are passers-by here on earth.”
Williams, an agriculturist, thanked Somolu residents for giving him the opportunity to serve humanity through the gesture.
He was delighted that he had an opportunity to contribute his quota to the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
