EPL: David Raya reacts to mistake in Arsenal’s 3-2 win over Spurs
Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya has stated that he is willing to learn new things from his own blunders.
Some of these errors occurred during Arsenal's 3-2 Premier League victory over Tottenham on Sunday.
Arsenal led 3-0 in the first half, thanks to an own goal by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg and goals from Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz.
Tottenham, on the other hand, came back stronger after the break and were awarded a goal in the 64th minute after Raya's attempted lob fell at the feet of Cristian Romero on the edge of the penalty box.
The Argentine converted the chance, making it 3-1.Son Heung-min then scored from the penalty spot with three minutes remaining in regulation after Declan Rice fouled Ben Davies.
However, Mikel Arteta's team managed to hold off their north London rivals for the rest of the game.
Raya told Sky Sports, "I've learned from my mistakes." If you don't make mistakes, you won't learn. It's part of football; everyone makes mistakes.
"But the issue is, when a goalie makes a mistake, it's a goal, which is more visible and talked about than a striker missing a tap-in or anything.
"But it's just part of football, and you'll learn from it." That is the most essential thing: you learn from your mistakes.
