According to Turkish outlet Sports Digitale, Italian team Lazio is in talks with Turkish club Hatayspor about the transfer of Nigeria international Fisayo Dele-Bashiru ahead of next season, TalkTalk Nigeria Sports Extra says.


The midfielder has been in excellent form for the Turkish team, scoring seven goals and giving six assists in 35 games over two competitions.

Lazio is still in the battle to compete on the continent next season, as they are now seventh in the Serie A league with 55 points, two points behind Atalanta, who hold the final European slot.

Igor Tudor, who was appointed Lazio manager last month following the resignation of Maurizio Sarri after a difficult spell defined by a fifth defeat in six games, has already started preparation for the 2024/25 season and the Croatian has identified Ayodele-Bashiru as a potential buy.
