“When are you Ghana reply” – Dremo trolls Sarkodie, days after dissing him in a song

The one-sided musicians battle between Dremo and Sarkodie has only heated up, as the Nigerian rapper has released another diss song.

In this second diss track, you can hear Dremo questioning Sarkodie about when he will answer to the first.

Dremo employed an outstanding wordplay, replacing the word 'gonna' with Ghana and the phrase'see this' with 'cedis'.

Dremo also mentioned that Sarkodie used Nigerian musicians to gain popularity in his song, which appears to be what prompted him to produce the diss song in the first place.
Dremo stated in his song that he was not beefing Sarkodie and that it was simply a 'cruise', despite throwing shots at him.

This whole situation began when Sarkodie released a song implying that Nigerian artists were not his competitors. He went on to explain that Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole were his sole competitors.

Sarkodie's song must have enraged Dremo because he retaliated quickly, utilizing Sarkodie's beats to beef him. He even taunted him over his relationship with Yvonne Nelson, who called him out in her book.

Celebrity beefs are rather prevalent among artists, even internationally. A few years ago, Ghanaian singer Shatta Wale complained angrily about Nigerian songs being played in Ghana, particularly in prominent venues such as clubs.

Ghana and Nigeria have had a friendly rivalry for many years. One of the most prevalent issues that Nigeria and Ghana has is over jollof rice, whereby each country claims to have the best.
There’s also the issue of steady electricity, where Ghanaians have trolled Nigerians incessantly over their unstable power supply.

Also, during the AFCON games, Nigerians trolled Ghanaians over the early loss during the games. Ghanaians returned the same energy when Nigeria lost during the finals.
