My Benz is 18 years, I live within my means – Speed Darlington mocks Portable

Speed Darlington, a controversial singer, has criticized his colleague Portable after his incarceration for auto debt.

According to TalkTalk Nigeria, Portable was arrested by personnel from the Lagos State Police Command on Tuesday for refusing to settle a debt acquired when he purchased a G-Wagon from an auto dealer in the state.

In response, Speed Darlington mocked the 'Zazu' singer for appearing as a rockstar while battling with debt.
The 'Akpi' explained that, unlike Portable, he lives within his means, pointing out that his Benz is 18 years old.

Darlington stated in a video message posted on his Instagram account on Wednesday, "Una see Portable jump fence? Portable, don't cast o! Yoruba superstars do not get money for Mercedes [laughs].

“Nobody is looking for me. Everything is cash and carry. I don’t hang my hand on a shoulder I can’t reach. Portable was flaunting his GLE but he didn’t have the money to pay for it.

“Guess how old my Benz is? 18 years. But I’ve peace of mind. I can’t jump fence.”
