Olajide Omotayo will compete in the men's table tennis event at the 2024 Olympics.

Omotayo qualified for the games after defeating Congo-Brazzaville's Saheed Idowu 4-0 in the semi-finals of the qualifying competition in Kigali, Rwanda.

He will make his second Olympic debut.
Similarly, Offiong Edem qualified for Paris 2024 with a hard-fought 4-2 semi-final victory over Tunisia's Fadwa Garci in the women's division.

The 37-year-old will make her seventh Olympic participation in Paris.

The qualifying tournament will end today (Saturday).
