Arsenal icon Tony Adams has expressed concern over manager Mikel Arteta's management of Bukayo Saka, claiming the young English star is not getting enough rest.


Since taking over as manager at the Emirates, Arteta has impressively rebuilt Arsenal into a title contender.

However, Adams believes there is a big flaw in Arteta's tactics, specifically Saka's playtime.

"Saka was fantastic last year. Don't forget, if I have one critique for Arteta, it's that he plays him in every game. "He doesn't give him any rest," Adams explained (via The Boot Room).

"Perhaps he doesn't trust what is coming through beneath him.


"If he was like Grealish or playing for Man City, Saka would be right up there."
