‘My behaviour inexcusable’ – Diddy apologises for assaulting ex-girlfriend in viral video

Sean Combs, nicknamed Diddy, has issued a public apology following the release of CCTV evidence showing him attacking his former signee and estranged lover Cassie in a hotel corridor in 2016.

According to TalkTalk Nigeria, CNN got video evidence in 2016 showing Diddy violently kicking and throwing things at his then-girlfriend Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel hallway.

The rapper has accepted "full responsibility" for his conduct in the video.
In a video message posted on his social media website on Sunday, Diddy stated that his actions in the video were "inexcusable."

He stated, "My behaviour in that video is unforgivable. I fully accept responsibility for my conduct in that video. I'm very sorry."

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has said it won’t prosecute Diddy over the assault video, despite public outcry.
According to the attorney’s office, the incident is “beyond the timeline where a crime of assault can be prosecuted.”
