Burna Boy approaches music business with sense of order despite alleged crazy nature – Baba Fryo
Baba Fryo, a veteran Nigerian artist, claims that despite Burna Boy's reputed erratic behavior, he approaches the music industry with order.
During an appearance on the 'Hoha' podcast, the 'Denge Pose' rapper praised Burna Boy for always giving credit to his sources of inspiration.
He berated Ruger, however, for failing to give him credit despite "copying" his eyepatch look.
He also chastised Bella Shmurda for using his music without giving him credit.
Baba Fryo stated, "Ruger did not obtain my permission before duplicating my manner of wearing an eye patch. I once saw his interview on Facebook, and he said that an incident involving him and a soldier motivated him. I was disappointed. I exclaimed, "Africa!" Black individuals will never give credit to whom it is due.’
"A lot of people said Burna Boy was crazy, but in his song, he mentioned 'Denge Pose' and my name. He understood why he said my name. Despite this, many people believe he is insane. They refer to him as an alien, but he always does the right thing.
"When Adekunle Gold wanted to sample my music, his team contacted me, and I granted permission. However, some of today's artists fear that once they reach stardom, the legends who came before them and produced the ideas they are drawing on would not benefit from their success.
