Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager, has revealed that Joao Cancelo could return to Barcelona next season.

Cancelo has spent the past year on loan with the LaLiga club.

The defender left City after a falling out with Guardiola.
However, Cancelo is expected to return to the Premier League champions unless the two teams reach an agreement on a new contract.

"It has to be the best for everyone," Guardiola stated of Cancelo's future.

"The two clubs will sit down. He is our player, and if a deal is not done, he will have to return during the preseason.

"If he wants to stay [at Barcelona], and the clubs agree, it will be done again."
