He’s an animal – Argentina’s De Paul reveals toughest player he ever faced

Argentina midfielder Rodrigo De Paul has described Neymar as the most difficult player he has faced.

De Paul described Neymar, who presently plays for Al-Hilal in the Saudi Pro League, as a football animal.

Neymar is out of the forthcoming Copa America 2024 in the United States due to injury.

The former Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona forward suffered the injury while on international duty late last year, ruling him out of the season.

"Neymar in the Copa America final was the toughest opponent I faced," De Paul stated (according to Albiceleste Talk).

"He's an animal. I told him a few things.

"In the second half, during a play, I told him, 'Truly, man, you are a phenomenon.

"It's not just how you play; no one can knock you off your game." Then we embraced. Ney's performance in the final was incredible."
