Big Brother Naija 'Shine Ya Eye' winner Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as Whitemoney, has boasted that his money, rather than fans, propelled him far in the reality show's All Stars season.


The musician admitted he wasn't surprised when he was evicted since he knew he wouldn't win.

He said that before appearing on the show, he paid his staff to vote for him.

In a recent interview with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel, Whitemoney stated that he received barely two percent of supporters' votes.

The reality star insisted that money, not followers, had propelled him to success.

"I wasn't surprised [when I was ousted] since I knew I wouldn't win. I was the one who donated my team money so they could keep subscribing. My money got me that far. People's voting was only 2%; my money got me that far," he said.
