Enyinnaya leaves Rivers United after three years

Kazie Enyinnaya, a Rivers United midfielder, has announced his departure from the club, TalkTalk Nigeria reports.

Enyinnaya confirmed his exit from the Port Harcourt club on social media.

The utility midfielder joined the Pride of Rivers at the beginning of the 2020/21 season.

The player was a member of the Rivers United team that won the NPFL championship in 2022/23.

Enyinnaya is now expected to relocate somewhere.

"Today, I say a big THANK YOU to the fans, supporters, players, coaches and management of Rivers United Football Club for an Amazing four (4) years of great accomplishments," he wrote in his note of resignation.

"Under the Rivers United banner, we won one league trophy, advanced to the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup twice, and played for the national team.

"Being an RUFC player was an honor, and fighting for the club's glory on the pitch was the nicest feeling ever.

"Saying goodbye to a club that has provided me with so many opportunities to excel is the most difficult thing right now; we have shared both good and bad moments, but TODAY I take nothing but GOOD MEMORIES away with the expiration of my contract with the Club.

"RUFC will always remain a part of my success narrative, even as I say goodbye to the Pride Of Rivers. "I wish RUFC more success in the near future," he stated.
