Football trade specialist Fabrizio Romano has stated that Boca Juniors defender Aaron Anselmino will have a physical with Chelsea in the coming days.

According to Romano, Anselmino will join the Premier League's west London club on loan.

On Sunday morning, he revealed this in a tweet from his X handle.

"Chelsea expects Aaron Anselmino to go for medical testing as soon as a loan decision is made for the 2005-born defender, which should be next week or the next one.

*He will stay at Boca Juniors for at least 6 months; it is the final detail before the deal is inked."

Chelsea has been active during the summer transfer window.
