Lobi Stars will begin their preparations for the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League season on July 15.

Upon returning, the team will begin pre-season training and player registration in compliance with NFF/NPFL standards.

The team will also go on a training tour of Benue State's 23 Local Government Areas to scout for new talent and strengthen the roster for the upcoming season.

Eugene Agagbe, the Makurdi club's head coach, is anticipated to return for the upcoming season.

Lobi Stars finished sixth in the 2023/24 season, failing to qualify for the continent.

The 2024/25 NPFL season will start on Saturday, August 29.
