All You Need to Know About the 75 Soft Challenge
Are you one of those people who heard about the 75 Hard Challenge and did a 180 because, “Nope, definitely not me?” Welcome. This right here is for us soft-life people.
Allow me to introduce you to 75 Hard’s step-sister, 75 Soft Challenge.
The 75 Soft Challenge is a gentler, more flexible version of the popular 75 Hard Challenge. It is designed to promote mental clarity, balance, and personal growth without intense rigidity. It’s supposed to give you the same desired results as the 75 Hard without breaking your bones.
Created by entrepreneur Andy Frisella, this challenge offers a holistic approach to self-improvement, focusing on physical and mental well-being.
You’re probably excited at the prospect of a “softer” version, but is it really that soft?
Before you jump right in, here’s everything you need to know.
The 75 Soft Challenge
The 75 Soft Challenge is a 75-day program that seeks to strengthen mental resilience and promote mindfulness and balanced living. Unlike its more intense counterpart, it encourages flexibility and self-compassion and allows participants to tweak it to their individual needs and lifestyles.
Our 75 Soft Rules
1. Follow a Diet: Choose a balanced eating plan that aligns with your health goals, focusing on nourishing your body with whole foods. Choose one you can easily adapt to and start easy.
2. Exercise Daily: Commit to at least 30 minutes of physical activity each day, whether walking, yoga, or your preferred workout. Just make sure to clock 30 minutes per day.
3. Read 10 Pages: Dedicate time each day to personal development by reading at least ten pages of a book that inspires or educates you.
4. Practice a Daily Habit: Choose a daily habit that promotes mindfulness and well-being. It can be anything ranging from meditation to journaling, gratitude practice, positive affirmations, etc.
5. Hydrate: Aim to drink adequate water each day to stay hydrated and support overall health.
Why Take on the Challenge?
The 75 Soft Challenge offers a balanced approach to self-improvement, promoting mental clarity, physical well-being, and personal growth. By incorporating daily habits that nurture both body and mind, you’re improving not just your physical state but also your emotional, mental, and even spiritual state.
Tips for Consistency
Set Realistic Goals: Be realistic about your capabilities and set achievable goals that align with your lifestyle. Start with a three-day plan and grow from there.
Stay Flexible: Adapt to changes that arise because they will. Some days, you may not be able to carry out one activity at your initial time, and that’s okay. Be ready to make changes and keep moving. Don’t let that deter you; instead, prioritize self-care when needed.
Find Support: Share your journey with friends and family, or join online groups to find encouragement and accountability. Things like this are easier when done in groups/teams.
Celebrate Progress: Celebrate small victories and milestones along the way to stay motivated.
