Famous singers Ayra Starr and Tems have been named the most streamed Nigerian musicians on Spotify.

Spotify, a global music streaming platform, used this information in its ranking of Nigeria's top 30 singles released in the first half of 2024.

Ayra Starr's domination was demonstrated by her partnership with Rauw Alejandro on the song 'Santa'.

She finished second with her solo song 'Comma', while Tems came in third with 'Love Me Jeje'.

Another Vibe by Luciano and Omah Lay finished in fourth place, followed by Burna Boy and Savage's Metro Booming Just Like Me in fifth place and Tyla and Tems' No.1 in sixth.

During a press conference in Lagos on Wednesday, Phiona Okumu, Spotify's Head of Music Sub-Saharan Africa, also stated that "the list recognised Nigerian most listened to tracks from outside the country between January 1 and June 30 2024."
