Bayelsa United players are set to return to camp next Thursday to resume training ahead of the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

All retained players must report to the team's camp in Opolo on the day of restart.

According to the organization, the early resumption allows the team to thoroughly prepare for the new season.

The Prosperity Boys will play a series of friendlies prior to the start of the new season.

Bayelsa United avoided relegation last season.

The new NPFL season will begin on Saturday, August 31.
