Argentina's captain, Lionel Messi, has posted a heartfelt statement on Instagram ahead of his country's 2024 Copa America final against Colombia on Sunday.

Argentina will face Colombia in this year's Copa América final at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida.


Messi posted a few of photos from Argentina's training on Instagram before the match, with the caption:

"Final day of Copa America. We've reached the end again... This wonderful journey would not have been possible without the tireless efforts of everyone, including those who watch the most and those who are constantly behind the camera.

"Thanks to all for the effort and passion, to all the teammates and the technical body, to the workers of the National Team and all the Argentinians who came to encourage us to America and to those who could not come but support us from our country and also from other places where they are living."

Messi has one goal and one assist in the Copa America 2024.
