TalkTalk Nigeria says that Zaidu Sanusi has been named to FC Porto's pre-season training squad for the 2024/25 season.

The Nigeria international is among the 28 players named by new manager Vitor Bruno for the training camp.

Sanusi underwent surgery in February after injuring his cruciate ligament during a league match against Estrela da Amadora.

The 26-year-old is anticipated to gradually return to action ahead of the new season.

Porto has scheduled friendlies against Varzim, Chaves, Nacional, Al Arabi, Austria Vienna, and Sturm Graz.

Sanusi made ten appearances for the Dragons in all competitions last season.
