TalkTalk Nigeria claims that Franck Mawuena has renewed his contract with Remo Stars.

The Togolese agreed to a new one-year contract with the Sky Blue Stars.

Mawuena was instrumental in Remo Stars' second-place finish in the Nigerian Premier Football League last season.

He scored six goals for Daniel Ogunmodede's team throughout the campaign.

Mawuena was voted the best foreign player in the NPFL past season.

He is likely to play a key role for the Ikenne-based team next season.
